For the grown-up

Keep counting on fingers, claps and toy piles - numbers live in the body. Never test; just count real things together. Short daily bursts beat one long lesson.

1. 1. Tap a card and listen together
2. 2. Let your child point or tap along
3. 3. Do the action prompt together
4. 4. Celebrate - five minutes is plenty
